15.9.2011. - MOBOTIX At ASIS In Orlando
MOBOTIX CORP. Showcases New IP Security Technologies at 57th Annual ASIS International Seminar & Exhibits
Attendees get first look at 6.2-megapixel camera
Orlando, September 15, 2011 – MOBOTIX, an industry leading provider of high-resolution, network-based security solutions, will highlight the rich functionality of its megapixel, IP security technologies, including its new 6.2 megapixel surveillance camera, at the 57th Annual ASIS International Seminar & Exhibits on Sept. 19-21, 2011, in Orlando, Fla. Conference attendees are invited to view the MOBOTIX solutions at booth #2059 in the Orange County Convention Center.
"We are excited to provide the attendees of the ASIS seminar with the opportunity to see the newest additions to our product portfolio in person," said Steve Gorski, General Manager, Americas, MOBOTIX. "The D14 is our newest innovation and as our highest resolution camera, it provides users with the highly detailed image clarity necessary to support and solve investigations quickly."
New Technologies
The MOBOTIX D14 DualDome camera combines the unique MOBOTIX decentralized approach to surveillance with 6.2-megapixel quality video to provide exceptional, high-resolution coverage of large areas. With two separately adjustable camera modules, each with 3.1 megapixels, the D14 offers a variety of ways to examine a scene because the two modules can be combined to create one image. Equipped with a 90° wide angle and tele lenses, the camera can monitor an entire scene and, at the same time, the tele lens can record portrait photos in front of a particular area, such as an entrance.
MOBOTIX will also demonstrate the MOBOTIX IP Video Door Station. With 3.1 megapixels and internal memory, the hemispheric door camera records the entire entrance area, with no blind spots, from wall to wall and from floor to ceiling. The unit also features recording with sound, keyless entry and integrated message function.
Conference Activities
On Tuesday, Sept, 20, 2011, from 12 p.m. to 12:30 p.m., conference attendees are invited to join MOBOTIX for the presentation, "Megapixel Video Implemented with Decentralized Concept and Hemispheric Technology". During this session, Gorski will outline the advantages and differentiators of the decentralized approach to surveillance. Unlike other systems, the decentralized MOBOTIX concept incorporates a high-speed computer into every camera. This reduces network bandwidth because video is processed on the cameras itself and images do not have to be constantly transferred. The presentation will be held in the Hall C Solutions Theater.
