Interfoni sa integrisanom kamerom su prisutni na tržištu godinama. Oni su gotovo uvek bazirani na analognoj TV tehnologiji koja je stara preko 60 godina, i zbog sistema koji se koristi mogu da prikažu slike lošeg kvaliteta. Ovakvi sistemi nisu bili u stanju da omoguće dvosmernu komunikaciju. Sistemi kabliranja i napajanja koji su neophodni za instalaciju ovakvih sistema su kompleksani.

Kvalitet slike svetlosnog senzora u boji od5 megapiksela je i do cetiri puta bolji od senzora od 3 megapiksela, ?to rezultira odlicnim kvalitetom slike cak i pri lo?im svetlosnim uslovima, usled, na primer vremenskih nepogoda.

Nova 5MP tehnologija nudi mnogo efikasniji zum nego dosada?nja. Kvalitet detalja je poboljsan za 27%. A kamera od sada, pored kvalitetnije slike, mo?e biti montirana na mnogo vecoj udaljenosti od posmatrane regije, ?to za rezultat daje mnogo bezbedniju aplikaciju.

Nove kamere serije 5 su prve Mobotix kamere koje poseduju nocni senzor od 5 megapiksela, koji proizvodi sliku od 3.1 megapiksela. Ovaj sensor proizvodi znazno vecu sliku od dosada?njeg senzora.
